South - Proximity.
The powers give you the ability to experience life as it really is. South stands for innocence and trust, where you can experience closeness to life and things, sense the nature of the heart. You experience sadness, joy, laughter and tears. Love and hate, fear, anxiety, charity, tenderness, openness, honesty and curiosity. Closeness, openness and trust in life. allows you to see all colours and new views in life.
South is the sign of growth. It creates a breeding ground for personal growth and change. Expressing real closeness is an expression of love of life and charity towards other people.
Here you are open to influence and change and have trust and confidence in yourself and other people. Here you experience emotions such as love, happiness and anxiety, and live in these feelings without fleeing to protection.
A leader must be close to and involve themselves in the development of their employees. Have the wisdom to develop whole people. The leader must involve their whole self in this task and have the courage and confidence to show all sides of themselves.
When you only experience things from proximity, you bury yourself in the small things and anxiety can quickly take over. The mouse, the totemic animal of power, lacks the wisdom in what it does and the clarity and overview of the eagle. When the myopic mouse looks up at the sky, it can only see spots. Most mice perceive the spots as dangerous eagles.
The fear of eagles limits the mice's fulfilment. It's the same with most people.
Some mice also have the power of clarity, the keen eyesight of an eagle and can see that most spots in the sky are innocent clouds and the occasional harmless seagull. These mice trust themselves and their fellow creatures, and can experience growth and development, leading to a greater experience of life.
